Conducting A Safe Burn Of Native Grass Pastures Using The Double Wet Line Ring Fire Technique 39:00 minutes adult (2005) Produced by Kansas State University Research and Extension, this DVD offers
hints and suggestions to make burns efficient and safe. The program follows a burn through preparation, establishment of safety precautions, and the burn itself.
Land Of Life 9:00 minutes adult (2003) Non-farmers are introduced to what America’s farmers and ranchers are doing to manage fish and wildlife habitat on their working lands. A companion product, the color booklet “Our Living Land,” highlights examples of successful projects led by NRCS field personnel and our partners to help landowners get conservation on America’s working lands.

Techniques For Restoring Wetland Topography 58 minutes adults (2001) Restoring a variety of wetland habitats ensures the restoration of the greatest biological diversity. When wetlands were drained or altered, they lost most of their elevation diversity (minor and macro-topography) through land leveling or cropping practices. Recreating undulating landscapes, swales, oxbows, or other landscape features provides a diversity of habitat types. This video reviews various techniques being used by NRCS to restore wetland topography.
Teen News Network: Groundwater Update 13:00 minutes 3rd grade/adult (1993) Teen News Network (TNN) takes off on the format of a network newscast to create an awareness of groundwater among teens and all ages to motivate them to conserve and protect the groundwater resource and to encourage them to share what they learn about groundwater with others.
