Logos and StationeryThe NRCS logo, with or without text, will be used in publications and electronic presentations intended for internal communications. The logo combining the USDA and NRCS logos, with or without text, is to be used in publications or electronic presentations for external communications. The USDA NRCS logo with a nondiscrimination statement will be used where USDA NRCS is listed with other partners. The logo with a short nondiscrimination statement is available and can be used; however, if space allows, the lengthy nondiscrimination statement may be used. In these instances, usually the logo and statement would be printed at the end of the publication or electronic presentation.

Permission to UseUse of the NRCS logo is limited to the official business of the NRCS. Other use, without the express written consent of NRCS, is prohibited. The NRCS Chief has designated the state conservationist as the publication control officer for his/her state (National Instruction 260-308.3(a)). If permission to use is requested, please have the requesting partner e-mail or write the Kansas NRCS State Conservationist for permission. If the request is granted, an electronic file of the logo will be sent to the requester. Logos of partners SHOULD NOT be used without permission. So you have a crisp, clean copy, get an electronic copy from the partner. Address Label TemplatesThe following Microsoft Word address templates contain our logos and the department and agency names spelled out. They are provided as an option to uniformly identify our agency as the sender of the letter or package. The following templates are set up so that each office can type in its address and print the labels using a laser printer.
Labels should be purchased through Office Max - Government (formerly Boise Cascade). If labels are not available there, check General Services Administration (GSA) Advantage. If the smallest quantity available for purchase is more than you will use, contact your area office about sharing a box. Stationery
