Kansas 2007 EQIP Allocation Process

Allocation Process

Allocations are made to NRCS administrative areas for the Livestock Waste and Water Quantity natural resource concerns.  Applications in these resource concerns are ranked within the NRCS administrative area.

Allocations are made to the county level for Grazing Lands Health, Soil Quality, and Water Quality.  All allocations are based on the amount, type, and the magnitude of the resource concern.  Applications in these resource concerns are ranked within the county.

Forestland Health is allocated from the state level. Forestland Health is only eligible in the following counties:  Allen, Anderson, Atchison, Bourbon, Brown, Butler, Chase, Chautauqua, Cherokee, Clay, Coffey, Cowley, Crawford, Dickinson, Doniphan, Douglas, Elk, Franklin, Geary, Greenwood, Jackson, Jefferson, Johnson, Labette, Leavenworth, Linn, Lyon, Marion, Marshall, Miami, Montgomery, Morris, Nemaha, Neosho, Osage, Pottawatomie, Riley, Shawnee, Wabaunsee, Washington, Wilson, Woodson, and Wyandotte.
