Telephone Equipment and Services
In October 2004, USDA approved an Incidental Transfer Agreement for the
transfer of certain IT support functions to OCIO-ITS. As a result, ITS
established a framework for service delivery to FSA, NRCS and RD for IT
equipment including telephone systems and phones.
OCIO-ITS is responsible for maintenance. Contact Area ITS Specialist for

The OCIO-ITS is responsible for assuring the number of phone lines installed
in the USDA Service Center is in accordance with guidelines. They are also
responsible for assuring the phone system is set up in accordance with approved
